QR Code Printing Technologies
QR code printing can be performed using 3 different methods: C.I.J, T.I.J, and Laser.
C.I.J (Continuous Ink Jet)
Continuous ink jet system. Low cost but limited resolution. Solvent-based, print speed up to 30 m/min.
T.I.J (Thermal Ink Jet)
The most preferred method. HP technology, maintenance-free, high-quality printing. Practical and reliable.
Laser
Printing by laser etching. Low operating cost but requires a dark-colored surface. Requires a dedicated filtration system.

Serialization
Serialization refers to assigning a unique serial number to each manufactured product (pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, medical devices, crop protection, etc.) and applying this number onto the product packaging using various technologies.
Aggregation
Aggregation is the process of virtually and hierarchically linking serialized shipping units (pallets, cases, shrink wraps) with the QR-coded (serialized) products inside them. This method is known as PTS in the pharmaceutical industry.
Checkweigher
During the packaging stage, precision scales weigh the package components (leaflet, spoon, pipette, etc.) before they leave the line, forming a critical part of quality control. These precision scales ensure that each pharmaceutical box is completely and correctly assembled.

Quality Control & Validation
Every printed code is read by a smart camera system and the following checks are performed:
- Was the code read successfully?
- Is the scanned code one of the codes that should have been printed?
- Has the scanned code been printed before (duplicate check)?
- Is the quality grade between A and D according to GS1 standards?
- Did two boxes arrive stuck together during printing?
