PRODUCT TRACKING SYSTEM UTS IMPORT NOTIFICATION

An Import Notification is submitted for unique products imported from abroad. As of August 1, 2018, companies must query item numbers from their customs declarations through the Product Movements > Customs Declaration Document Operations screen and open quotas for their products before making an import notification. Among the Product Tracking System stakeholders, companies authorized as Manufacturers and Importers submit Import Notifications for products they bring from abroad. Each product with an Import Notification becomes ready for movement in the UTS. For an Import Notification to be made, the product must be registered in the Product Tracking System. For an imported product to be registered in the UTS, the related documents must first be recorded and approved by TITCK.
